Alexis C. Handrich is a 2002 summa cum laude graduate from Temple University. Ms. Handrich graduated from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2005, where she was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and the Rubin Honor Society. While there, she participated in the Beasley School’s nationally recognized “Integrated Trial Advocacy Program,” and was twice awarded “Distinguished Class Performance” for her skill in trial advocacy. Ms. Handrich has experience as a Social Security Disability and Personal Injury law clerk and as an intern with the Philadelphia City Solicitor’s Claims Unit Law Clinic. During her internship, Ms. Handrich was selected as one of the top two students in the program.
Ms. Handrich began her legal career as an opinion writing law clerk for Workers’ Compensation Judge David I. Slom. For the past 12 years, Ms. Handrich has focused her practice on workers’ compensation. She is certified by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section as a Workers’ Compensation Law Specialist as authorized by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Ms. Handrich has been selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list during each year that she was eligible in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. She has served the Philadelphia Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section in many capacities since 2010, including being selected to serve as Co-Chair of that organization in 2018. Ms. Handrich has published numerous articles in the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, Philadelphia Law Weekly, and Pennsylvania Self Insured Association newsletter. Ms. Handrich is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
