Casey J. Schweppenheiser

Casey J. Schweppenheiser earned her law degree from Villanova University School of Law.  Ms. Schweppenheiser had the pleasure of being named a Walter Lucas Public Interest Fellow while in law school.  She also served as the Chair of the Moot Court Board.  In this capacity, she competed in moot court competitions across the country and brought home several awards including top ten oralist and first place brief. She also successfully coordinated the Annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition.

While in law school, Ms. Schweppenheiser sought out internships that allowed her to be in the courtroom. She served as a certified juvenile justice extern for the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office, representing juveniles charged with delinquency in detention hearings, adjudication hearings and sentencing hearings. She also worked as a certified legal intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s office where she handled preliminary hearings including felonies, misdemeanors and summary offenses, while working alongside an assistant district attorney.

Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, Ms. Schweppenheiser was a law clerk for the Honorable Arthur L. Zulick in the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas where she drafted opinions and orders, and conducted legal research in various areas of the law including foreclosure, employment discrimination, land use appeals, tort/negligence actions and criminal prosecutions. She continues to be very active with the Young Lawyers Division of the Monroe County Bar Association serving as the Member-At-Large.

Ms. Schweppenheiser is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has been chosen to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2018. She focuses her practice exclusively on Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law.
