Casey J. Schweppenheiser earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology, with a concentration in law and society, from Moravian College and her law degree from Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, she showed a strong aptitude for workers’ compensation as her excellent academic performance earned her a place among the highest achievers in workers’ compensation studies.


After graduating from Moravian College, Ms. Schweppenheiser worked as a legal intern at a law firm in Montgomery County that focused on medical malpractice, municipal, bankruptcy and criminal law.  She served as a certified juvenile justice extern for the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office, representing juveniles charged with delinquency in detention hearings, adjudication hearings and sentencing hearings. Ms. Schweppenheiser also worked as a certified legal intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s office where she handled preliminary hearings including felonies, misdemeanors and summary offenses, while working alongside an assistant district attorney.


Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, Ms. Schweppenheiser was a law clerk for the Honorable Arthur L. Zulick in the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas where she drafted opinions and orders, and conducted legal research in various areas of the law including foreclosure, employment discrimination, land use appeals, tort/negligence actions and criminal prosecutions.

Ms. Schweppenheiser was recently appointed as a member-at-large for the Young Lawyers Division of the Monroe County Bar Association and is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Northampton and Monroe Counties and for the St. Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen in Scranton, PA.
