Erica Shikunov earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Political Science from Loyola University Chicago and her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She also obtained an LL.M. in trial advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law, graduating with honors. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Erica has dedicated her practice to employment law and workers’ compensation since the inception of her career. Erica worked for two regional defense firms practicing both employment law and workers’ compensation litigation prior to coming to Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano. Since joining Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano in 2016, Erica has helped develop the firm’s Employment Law Department, specializing in wrongful terminations and workplace discrimination.
Erica has been published in the Legal Intelligencer, appeared on BCTV’s Injured Workers’ of Pennsylvania and spoke at 2018’s Women in Law and Leadership Summit. She has taught Continuing Legal Education seminars on the efficacy of return to work programs for injured employees, the ethics of discovery with regard to social media profiles and the interaction between the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers’ Association.
